prayers needed

We saw the oncologist today for the blood concerns the urologist had. He was not concerned; said Craig was in a normal range. We were able to ask cancer questions though. In the hospital, we were told that if Craig had renal cell carcinoma, that was the good kind of cancer to have, that they would cut it out, sew him closed and it would be like a bad nightmare. The research Craig has been doing says otherwise. So we wanted some straight answers.

Everything hinges on the pathology report we will receive tomorrow from the urologist. Stage one or two cancer and the numbers indicate that the cancer is unlikely/less likely to return. Stage three, the cancer is likely to return. The reason we never heard anything about chemo or radiation is because for this kind of cancer, they are very ineffective and not used.

Pray for good stage numbers. Pray for our peace, clarity of mind. Pray that Craig's reflux will be resolved with new meds; he needs rest!

We see the cardiologist tomorrow at 8 am and the urologist at 11 am.

Thanks for your prayers. I cannot explain how loved we have felt knowing that you are lifting us up in your prayers.

Love,
Jennifer

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. . .Hebrews 3:1-2
